With the burgeoning popularity of escape room games, Escape Room Live, with locations in Washington D.C. and (coming soon) Excalibur Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, NV, has emerged as one of the premier escape room companies in the United States.
Escape Room Live boasts some of the most unique and immersive experiences available, with movie themed escapes at their Georgetown, D.C. location - Friday the 13th, Titanic, Ghostbusters, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and Curse of the Mummy. This new 6,500 square foot store-front location on historic M Street includes a beautiful bar to serve patrons and private event guests.
Escape Room Live started with one room in Washington, D.C. in 2014 and evolved rapidly into multiple games, locations and increased technology that now includes triggered CGI effects and Augmented Reality combined with Hollywood-style sets. Extensive consideration is given to the quality of game design and takes as much priority as the overall look of their rooms. Ginger Flesher-Sonnier, who holds degrees in mathematics and psychology, and was an AP Statistics & Calculus teacher, department chair and competitive math team coach for two decades, is the owner and creator of Escape Room Live LLC. She opened the very first escape rooms in both Washington, D.C. and Northern Virginia back in 2014.
